DHN – Yesterday’s negativity

Submitted by Nick Stavrides on Sat, 09/27/2008 - 14:26.

Yesterday while talking about the bailout I went on the negative side and wasn’t as constructive as possible, sorry about that.

What we should do is open that magic drawer and pay ourselves, we seem to have forgotten that the people making the decisions work for us and it is our money that they are spending.

What we should do if we can open a magic drawer and pull out 700,000,000,000.00 dollars we should invest it into our infrastructure.

First should put a few billion into education because that is the foundation of all societies and the later problems that come down the road will fix themselves. Bono said the other day that 25 billion would be enough to get all children on the earth who aren’t in school in school.

Then perhaps take a few billion and invest in smaller companies and individuals that are focused on not only getting us off foreign oil but oil in general. Fund those who’s goals are renewable energy and getting all of the nipple that is the grid.

What about giving it some in the working class with charitable dreams, those who wish to help not only themselves but others.

I am tempted to get negative here but I will save it for another day.
