Help, because you can. I know that I can always choose either to help or not help. So if I want to help, I can and so can you. If you can't help those far away, geographicaly, from you, turn to your left, turn to your right and help someone close to you. You can do it. I know you can and will. I will too.

Has it been 29 years since John Lennon was murdered? I was 13 at the time and knew we had lost an important guy.

As time passed I learned more about how Lennon the man, along with his wife Yoko, championed peace.

No one is perfect but there are some who stand up for what they believe is right and he was one of 'em. He understood together we can make the world a better place. So in the spirit that we are all connected  in one large human family, today "Uncle John" we celebrate your life and the good you created. hey ya..

The more I listen to the people where conflict prevails the same thing is on their lips, "this is not a Palestinian, Israeli, African or Sudanese issue this is a human issue". These conflicts start at a place where one group sees the other as less then human. It is with this rationalization that paves the way for horrific acts to occur. Lets stop de-humanizing each other and begin re-humanizing because we are all human.
